We’re gathering to celebrate the Freelance Worker Protection Act’s progress toward becoming Illinois law.
Join us as we celebrate passage of state legislation protecting freelance workers from non-payment. This happy hour is organized by Illinois State Rep. Will Guzzardi’s office and the National Writers Union’s Digital Media Division, the Freelance Solidarity Project.
Appetizers are included. Drinks will be available for purchase. All freelance workers are welcome, but space in the venue is limited. Please RSVP so we know how many folks to expect.
