Journalists in the U.S. face a rise in extremism and anti-media hostility. Knowing how to protect ourselves and our sources against an array of digital security threats has never been more important.

In this session, the training focus will be digital-safety best practices for freelance and independent journalists and approaches to protection against online harassment. Attendees will come away with practical tools to assess digital risk, secure their accounts, protect online data, and securely communicate.
